Established in 1998, Yarrawonga Manufactured Housing (YMH) is a family-owned builder located in Mulwala, New South Wales, just five minutes from Yarrawonga, Victoria and Lake Mulwala.

Mulwala Facility

Building Estimator

Applicants must have the following attributes:

• Minimum 4 years experience in Sales and/or Building Estimating within the residential building industry.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills. • Able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Be self-motivated with an eye for detail.

In your new role you will:
• Obtain quotes and complete material Take Off’s.
• Prepare sales costings and proposals on a range of projects.
• Complete Bills of Quantities (BOQ's).
• Complete purchase orders.
• Complete margin reports.
• Complete job costs analysis.
• Ensure all projects are completed within set timelines, to the highest standard and within budget.
• Ensure relationships with internal and external trades people, sub contractors and suppliers are maintained and improved.
• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all Occupational Health & Safety requirements are always met.

You will have:
• Ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings (required).
• A confident disposition and be comfortable liaising and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and deal with a variety of activities, and Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials.
• Superior technical and problem solving skills with a strong customer focus.
• Experience with Databuild (highly desirable).
• Must have a current driver’s license.

Production Draftsperson

Due to our continual growth, we are seeking a Production Draftsperson with Revit experience to join our team.

Applicants must have the following attributes:
• Minimum 2 years drafting experience using Revit within the residential building industry.
• Clear communication skills, both visual and verbal.
• Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Be self-motivated, naturally versatile and take pride in your work.
• Have attention to detail and a high level of accuracy across all aspects of your work.

In your new role you will:
• Be proficient in the use of REVIT with demonstrated design and documentation skills.
• Prepare design documentation in full for new business prospects.
• Complete working drawings including all construction details as required.
• Ensure all projects are completed within set timelines, to the highest standard and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards.
• Have the ability to liaise and co-ordinate with the production team and statutory Authorities.
• Ensure relationships with internal and external stakeholders are maintained and improved.

You will have:
• Completed a Tafe Revit Drafting Diploma, Diploma of Building Design, Diploma of Architectural Drafting, or have equivalent practical experience.
• The ability to read and interpret residential construction drawings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials.
• A confident disposition and be comfortable liaising with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and deal with a variety of activities.
• Intermediate MS Office skills.
• Working knowledge and understanding of NCC, Standards and Codes.
• Superior technical and problem-solving skills with a strong customer focus.
• Skills in graphic and 3D rendering programs is beneficial.
• Must have a current driver’s license.

Bendigo Facility

Carpenter Leading Hand

This is a Full Time Position. Applicants must have the following attributes:
• Excellent communication, timekeeping, and organisational skills
. • Able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Be self-motivated with an eye for detail.
• Have the ability to motivate others.

In your new role you will:
• Report directly to the Construction Manager.
• Be the go-to for carpenters, apprentices and sub-contractors seeking expert knowledge and advice and be able to assist and answer all technical questions.
• Ensure all projects at our Bendigo facility are completed within set timelines, to the highest standard and within budget.
• Build capability and competence of team members through mentoring, staff training and development.
• Hold trades accountable to ensure issues are rectified.
• Ensure relationships with internal and external trades people, sub contractors and suppliers are maintained and improved.
• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and all Occupational Health & Safety requirements are always met.

You will have:
• A trade qualification in Carpentry with at least 8 years experience in the building industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building methods, processes, and materials.
• Superior technical and problem solving skills with a strong customer focus.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, influence and motivate team members.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have a current driver’s license.
• Current white card.
• Ability to use a tablet and or have basic computer skills if required.
